BIOGRAPHY

Flóra Boros is a Hungarian dancer and choreographer based in Vienna. She studied contemporary dance at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna and simultaneously economics at the University of Vienna. For her bachelor thesis in contemporary dance she received a scholarship fund from the cultural department of the city of Vienna (ma7). She has worked with artists such as Doris Uhlich, Esther Balfe, Matan Levkowich, Saint Genet Dance Company, Jasmin Avissar, Manfred Aichinger, Virginie Roy.
Paradox, her co-choreographed duet with Jeanne Lakits was performed at Tanzwerkstatt Europa, Raw Matters and Kultursommer Vienna.

In her current artistic work she is researching how game theory, which is an economic model, can be used in contemporary dance.

Her new solo performance Cindy received several residencies including D.iD residency mentored by Liz King, Tender Steps residency mentored by Costas Kekis, Huggy Bears Art Place, as well as a scholarship to ATLAS 20222 at Impulstanz, where she receives dramaturgical support from Guy Cools.
